EXHIBITIONS

I worked for many years with the late Josef Herman O.B.E., R.A., and it was from him that I received advice, instruction and encouragement. I am largely self - taught, finding my own way in response to my own impulses. Josef nurtured my individuality and was supportive and encouraging. I shall never forget his warmth, kindness, generosity and patience, whilst I was feeling my way along, what was then, an unfamiliar path.

There were others too who offered advice- Carel weight, William Coldstream, Bill Brandt, Cecil Collins , Howard Hodgkin and Liz Frink. All adding their own unique perspective into the mix.
